OVERVIEW
QMines (ASX:QML) owns 100% of the Herries Range project which comprises 330 square kilometres of tenure. The Herries Range gold projects contains an abundance of gold mineral occurrence, as both high-grade, small, hard rock workings and wide spread alluvial gold workings. The projects is prospective for large scale intrusion related gold deposits and sediment hosted gold deposits.
LARGE DEPOSIT POTENTIAL
The Herries Range project is prospective for large scale intrusion related gold deposits and sediment hosted gold deposits.
The geology of the project has attracted numerous majors in the past including Freeport, Saracen, Newmont, BHP Gold, Homestake and Western Mining.
LIMITED MODERN EXPLORATION
Despite having over 51 known historic workings or mineralised deposits, the Herries Range project remains relatively under explored.
The project has seen a total of five drill holes for a total of 197 meters of drilling which demonstrates the limited amount of exploration seen at the project.
KNOWN HISTORIC WORKINGS
With 51 known historic workings and widespread alluvial production the Herries Range Project has obvious exploration potential.
These historic workings provide multiple exciting drill targets that provide significant leverage to exploration success.
