OVERVIEW
QMines Limted’s (ASX:QML) Warroo project is located 50km West of Stanthorpe in Queensland. The project consists of 216km2 of tenure that includes the historic Warroo copper gold mine.
NUMEROUS HISTORIC DEPOSITS
The Warroo project has eight known small scale historic mines and deposits, many of which are of high grade.
Some previous deposits include the Ashton copper mine, the Commodore copper mine and the Warroo copper-gold mine.
EXPLORATION UPSIDE
It is believed that unmined primary mineralisation may exist in the pit floor of the Warroo historic copper-gold mine.
The Ti-Tree ridge prospect also has significant exploration potential with an 800m outcrop zone with 10.9g/t gold at surface.
HISTORIC PRODUCER
The historic Warroo copper-gold mine operated between 1909 and 1992.
The historic Warroo copper-gold mine removed 13,982oz gold, 21t copper and 901oz Silver to 40m depth.
