Slag & Waste Characterisation Drilling
Drilling has commenced across the historic stockpiles and slag at Mt Chalmers. In addition to providing the acid-base accounting and waste classification data required for DFS design and approvals, the program is testing a potential additional value opportunity within material generated by historic mining and processing. The slag stockpiles were generated during several mining and smelting campaigns between the late-1890’s through to mid-1940’s.
